Analysis Model of the Relationship between Public Spatial Forms in Traditional Villages and Scenic Beauty Preference Based on LiDAR Point Cloud Data

Traditional villages are historically, culturally, scientifically and aesthetically valuable, a beautiful landscape is the primary embodiment of traditional village environment. Urbanization modernization have had great impact on landscapes. As an important aspect landscapes, creating public spaces effective way to attract tourists improve well-being residents. Landscape aesthetic activities result interaction between objects subjects. Research relationship form subjective preferences has long been neglected. This research examined 31 in Dongshan Xishan areas Lake Taihu, Suzhou. An index system spatial forms was created, basic data were collected using hand-held 3D laser scanner, value calculated R language. The scenic beauty estimation (SBE) method improved, with environment based VR panorama rather than photo media. Parameter screening performed correlation analysis full subset regression analysis, four models used fit SBE scores grades. results show that majority lower average scores, key indicators contour upper height, solid-space ratio, vegetation cover, comprehensive closure predicted SBE.
